Deactivation

Subnets can be deactivated under the following conditions:

• Surpassing the maximum subnet penalty score

  • This increases when subnet nodes are less than the minimum required on any epoch or a validator that does not submit the subnet consensus data.

• Having less than the required minimum delegate stake balance

  • If this is true, anyone can remove the subnet manually or it will be removed on the following epoch if it isn't increased above the minimum required balance.

• Removed by stakeholders via governance or by the collective
